Thomas Fitzpatrick found!

Thomas Fitzpatrick has shown up in the 1851 and 1861 census living with his family - in Scotland (Galway, Scotland)! I spotted this about a month ago, and have been thinking this looks very likely, as he is the correct age, and is shown as being born just outside Ennis in County Clare, Ireland. Looking through his army records with Dad though, he noticed that the census shows him as a an apprentice Mason, which matches his occupation in his army enlistment! With the death certificate of his father, and birth certificates of siblings we actually have names of a few ancestors in Ireland!

I received the Gordon/Haywood marriage certificate which finally answers a few questions. Still trying to find more about the Haywoods, but I've pushed the Gordons back a generation, with some siblings.

I've also found out more about Kristin's ancestors in Gloucestershire.

Everything has now been moved over from http://fitzpatrick.treeshare.com/. Thanks to Martin Lomas for setting up that site, and hosting it. I wish him good luck in the future!

Some new data too, I've found the Gordon/Haywood marriage record, and have ordered a copy from the GRO, so with that we should be able to figure out where these two come from! Also I've slowly started adding Kristin's (my wife's) family - which interestingly goes back to the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border.

In addition I've still got some Fitzpatrick data to add from my visit to the British Library.
